City Museum

City Museum (Museo de Aguascalientes) is about 6 blks. n.e. of Plaza de la Patria at Calle Zaragoza #505, opposite the Church of San Antonio. It exhibits 20th-century art, including a collection of paintings by Saturnino Herrán, who was born in the city. His work depicts the common people with uncommon sensitivity and fostered a sense of nationalist pride.
