Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Birmingham Botanical Gardens, 2612 Lane Park Rd., comprises nearly 68 acres of flowers, trees and shrubs. More than 230 species of birds can be observed. The grounds also contain a conservatory and a Japanese garden as well as 27 landscaped gardens and plant collections. A horticultural lending library contains gardening books, magazines, CDs and DVDs.

Picnicking is permitted in designated locations. Pets are not permitted.
