AAA Editor Notes
Historic Huntsville Depot is at 320 Church St. Highlights include an extensive collection of locomotives and railway cars, a multimedia presentation about railroad history, a vintage fire truck exhibit and an HO model train exhibit. After Union forces captured the building in 1862, it served as a military prison. Graffiti scratched into the building's walls by Confederate and Union soldiers is still visible. Life-size robotic figures talk about 1912 railroad operations.
