Mobile Museum of Art

Mobile Museum of Art is off Springhill Ave. in Langan Park at 4850 Museum Dr. This fine-art museum, one of the Gulf Coast’s largest, has a permanent collection of more than 10,000 works spanning more than 2,000 years of cultural history. Exhibitions include 19th-century American landscape paintings; mid-20th-century American Scene paintings; Southern decorative arts and furniture; African, Asian and European art; and contemporary crafts, particularly ceramics and wood art. Touring exhibitions from other museums and collections also are presented.
