AAA Editor Notes
Prattaugan Museum and Heritage Center, 102 E. Main St. at jct. Chestnut St., is in the 1848 McWilliams-Smith-Rice house. Displays highlight town founder Daniel Pratt and his industrial complex, military history pertaining to Autauga County, businesses and schools throughout the county, a medical room and early 20th century American living. The museum also houses an extensive archive containing genealogical, church and cemetery histories that includes documents and photographs.
