AAA Editor Notes
Alabama Museum of Natural History is in Smith Hall at jct. 6th Ave. and Capstone Dr., at the n.e. corner of the University of Alabama campus quadrangle. Exhibits include fossils and minerals from the Coal Age, Dinosaur Age and ice ages. Of special interest is the Hodges meteorite, which gained distinction in 1954 when it crashed through the roof of a Sylacauga house and struck the napping occupant, thus making it the only known meteorite to have hit a human.
