Aliceville Museum is at 104 Broad St. N.E. Photos, artifacts, documents, drawings, uniforms and weapons tell the story of more than 6,000 German POWs once held in Aliceville. During World War II, the city was home to one of 511 camps in the United States. A 15-minute video presentation provides insight into life as a prisoner in the camp. Other features include a 1948 Coca-Cola bottling plant, local history exhibits and a display honoring the U.S. military.
