AAA Inspector Notes
This beautifully restored property offers period style rooms in its main house. The quaint vintage neighborhood includes a variety of accommodations, such as suites, cottages and modest units. Built in 1836 by the third mayor of Mobile, the inn is the city's second oldest home. The complex has brick-paved streets and vintage-style, metal gas streetlights, which create an ambience of a bygone era. Cooked-to-order gourmet breakfast is prepared daily by the resident chef. Room and special event/attraction combination packages are often available. Smoke free premises. 19 units, some cottages. 1-3 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very personable and amazing, especially the chef. He prepare one of the most delicious breakfasts that I have ever had. I absolutely appreciated that he fed two of the local stray kitties gourmet food! Such a kind hearted person! The room was also very nice and well kept, we stayed in the Carriage house which was very lovely. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area!

Cons: The room had an odd smell. Walls are somewhat thin; disturbed the neighbors, I think
