Pros: This location was a lot nicer than other locations. Close to everything.
Cons: The lady that checked us in that night wasn't very friendly, this was the first time I was ever asked if we needed 2 keys, every place we have ever checked into we were asked to see the credit card that we used to reserve room, when she asked for ID I went ahead and handed her my ID, the card that was used to book the room, and my husbands ID because the credit card was in his name. The lady looked at me as if I was stupid for putting all that up there and rudely told me that all she needed was my ID. We were tired after a 5 hour drive, after work, so we let that go and went to our room (209) As always we check the beds for bedbugs, it was clear of that. Out of habit when we got up and ready to check out we made our beds and that was when we found out, after my mother had slept on the bed, that there was blood on the side of the mattress and on the bed skirt under the mattress, About the size of a dinner plate. I wasn't going to say anything but when I handed them the key cards I felt like it needed to inform them of the blood. After that we left and went on about our trip. Ill be honest, in todays society I didn't expect it but a few hours later we got a call from the hotel about the incident and how the manager was comping us the room, like I said unexpected. Well it is now 5 days later and that charge is still on the credit card. Time will tell if they will follow through. Other than these issues the hotel was a good place to stay.

Pros: Located near Amtrak station
Cons: Staff was hit or miss on friendly. They have a wonderful way of bringing the customers downstairs to socialize together. They offer three adult beverages (wine or beer) per adult as well as chips and soda from 5:30 - 7:00. This is wonderful that is until the servers decide to stop the socializing early because her watch is set forward. And all be damned who show her the correct time. This one not on the hotel, there were three different couples that sent their kids into the pool to use it as a toilet. Maybe a bathroom in the pool area would be a good idea.
