Vaughan-Smitherman Museum, 109 Union St., is a 19th-century antebellum structure that has served as a Confederate hospital, a courthouse and a military school. The three-story Greek revival building houses Civil War artifacts, antique furniture, exhibits about local hospitals and politics, and various displays depicting Selma's history.
