Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum is 4.5 mi. n. on US 231, then 2.5 mi. n. to 3001 Jasmine Hill Rd., following signs. The 20-acre garden is adorned with statues, fountains and other art objects from Greece and Italy. Of particular interest is a copy of the Temple of Hera in Olympia, Greece. Marble and bronze statues include replicas of “The Discus Thrower” and “Venus de Milo.” Azaleas, Japanese cherry trees, magnolias, crepe myrtles, daylilies, dahlias, dogwoods and camellias are among the many plantings that provide bursts of color.
