Denali Natural History Tour, departing from the Wilderness Access Center, takes visitors on a bus tour across sections of the park where they can enjoy views of the Alaska Range from Denali to Mount Deborah. Driver-guides explain the region's natural history, unusual geological formations and local flora and fauna. A stop at the Wilderness Access Center allows time to view the film “Across Time and Tundra.” Guided tours are available.
Fare (includes park admission and a snack) $81.10; $35.50 (ages 0-15).
Hours: Trips depart daily 5:30-7:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30, mid-May to mid-Sept. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 4 hours, 45 minutes minimum.
