Standing amid the mountaintops with the sun sparkling on the distant ocean, you'll think you're on a movie set. I'd request a sunset view!
AAA Inspector Notes
This phenomenal mountaintop eatery is accessible by an aerial tram from the hotel. The menu centers on creative Alaskan and West Coast preparations such as seafood, beef, dry-aged pork chops, exotic game and a nightly chef's tasting menu. The crab cakes and scallop bisque are extraordinary. The wow factor begins the moment the elevator doors open to the Northern Lights display on the reception desk and continues while you dine surrounded by the spectacular, panoramic view of the seven glaciers. If you are up for a steep 2.7 mile hike, sports enthusiasts can walk up to the restaurant. You may want to call ahead for current lunch and dinner hours due to seasonality.
