Seward Community Library & Museum, 239 Sixth Ave., has exhibits about the main events in Seward's history, including the 1964 earthquake, the Iditarod race and local businesses. A 24-minute movie, “Iditarod National Historic Trail: A History,” highlights the history of the trail and race.

Museum $4; free (ages 0-12 and to all mid-Sept. to mid-May). Movie $2.
