This hotel is across the street from a park and the ocean. The atrium lobby features local artwork and a player piano. There are quite a variety of guest room types and sizes to choose from. Some rooms and vanities are compact. There are some rooms with balconies offering views of Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Mountains; these rooms sell out fast. There are no windows in the interior atrium guest rooms above the mezzanine.

Pros: The location of this hotel is awesome, its on the quiet side of town, which we loved! I would rather have the view this hotel has versus looking at hundreds of boats, so use this review to decide accordingly :)
Cons: The location was on the other end of town, so getting to and from the small boat harbor, where all the activities are, could be a challenge. The hotel has a shuttle which was good, but something to keep in mind when travelling with kids.
Cons: That they got the rooms mixed up.

Cons: Price for the quality. I've stayed in 5 star hotels in Hawaii for less with amazing quality, this is a Best Western in Seward, it should be priced as such. The room was small, no special amenities, no view, smelled like an old motel, other issues with the room that needed repair while we were there. Free breakfast was better than most hotels that offer (at least hot food) but it's not free when you are paying almost $400.00 for a room. The only reason it was priced the way it was is due to tourist price gouging (A Cruise Ship had arrived). The on site employees as well agreed. I'm local to Anchorage and spent the day taking my parents on a fishing trip. We needed a place to stay in town and this is what was available and they hotel knew it. I will never stay here again nor at a Best Western.
