Banff Park Museum National Historic Site is at 91 Banff Ave. Established in 1895, the collection moved to its present building in 1903. The museum depicts the way natural history exhibits were presented and interpreted at the beginning of the 20th century. Exhibits include mounted animals and mineral specimens. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
Free in 2017 to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation, otherwise $3.71; $3.24 (ages 65+); $1.81 (ages 6-16); $9.33 (up to seven people arriving in a single vehicle).
Hours: Daily 10-5, July 1-early Sept.; Wed.-Sun. 10-5, mid-May through June 30 and early Sept.-early Oct.
