Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, 111 Bear St., presents the heritage of the region through galleries exhibiting cultural and natural history displays and historic and contemporary artwork. Museum interpreters also guide visitors through two historic houses on-site, including the former residence of the museum's founders, Peter and Catharine Whyte. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
