Pros: The bed was extra comfy.
Cons: The restaurant was out of prime rib which was why we made reservation for dinner.

Pros: The pool area was very nice. Had a massage in the spa that was fantastic.
Cons: Problems controlling the temp of room. Either super hot or really cold. The king bed was comfortable, however my son slept on a pull out bed. They provided sheets and one very very thin blanket for him. When the room got cold he froze. For the price of the room, I expected a little more. Restaurant staff mixed up our order.

Pros: The hotel and room were very clean. We liked the fireplace in the room although it did get a bit warm we just opened a window.
Cons: During the check in process the girl at the front desk was not the most pleasant, we are Marriott rewards members and wanted to add our number to the reservation however she rudely told us that could not be done since we booked through a third party vendor. We explained that when we originally called the hotel to book the room directly the gentlemen at the hotel said if we got it cheaper through booking to go ahead and do that and we could add our rewards number during check in, her reply was "there's no way another member in staff would say that" we unfortunately did not remember the staff members name whom we originally spoke with. She continued to have a rude attitude through the rest of our check in process. She then told us there was parking in the rear of the building on the street, however neglected to mention there was no rear entrance door to the hotel. This felt very deliberate after the gentleman at the vallet on our way back in was very apologetic and stated that is usually mentioned during check in after we asked if there was a back entrance. As elite Marriott rewards members this has been our one and only negative experience upon first impressions. However the rest of the staff was very friendly from the restaurant staff to the rest of the front desk and valet attendants.
