Very Good

Overall rating of the hotel is 8.5 out of 10. Staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my colleagues if they don't care about the quality of the mattresses.
Pros: Satisfaction: the location of the hotel in the middle of a scenic area, the cleanliness and room services.
Cons: The bed mattress are the worst part of the room. The mattresses of the bed are unable to support the thoracic spine and the lumbo-sacral spine while we are lying down. We are sleeping on the floor on our two night stay in the hotel.

Pros: The view from our room was spectacular and exactly what we had hoped for :) The building was so very beautiful.
Cons: The spa - staff was very nice so no complaints there, but I have had a much better pedicure done elsewhere for a quarter of the price. Would not do the spa again.

Good
Pros: The view is amazing. Hiking down the Bow river- fantastic! Our waitress for breakfast was very fun and kind! The staff who checked us in was very helpful. The hotel smelled wonderful!
Cons: We have stayed in other Fairmonts and found the bedding and beds were fantastic ....but not here! No duvet- our sheets were thin and very worn. The bed rolled to the middle. We asked a staff person to replace a light bulb in the entry- never done. After waiting 40 years to be able to stay here - it was a sad visit for us. Over 500.00 to have this quality was very disappointing.

Poor

Needs some upgrades!
Pros: Rundle Burger was good.
Cons: The rooms are very run down at the Thompson side. Creepy elevators. Power went out and they did not compensate us or give us any discount. We couldn't shower and slept in a cold room. We had to drive out to get food. The phones and internet were out for our rooms also. When we went to the front lobby, they seemed to have some power for the main building.
