Pros: Everything I expected and a bit less than expected on value. Everything, including the secure wi-fi is extra. Nothing included, but we used the gym and the pool which were very good. There was a free shuttle to town but we just drove ourselves. We ate in town, so no comment on food.
Cons: The parking charges were an insult given the room rates. You hope for a good view for a premium rate but there is no control over clouds, so don't count on the view to justify splurging. We didn't realize the road was closed, and google navigation didn't plot the detour. If you follow the detour signs you may find it. Its not a great for walkers unless you want to climb. The hotel is a bit snooty and the guide tells you not wear your bathrobe in public areas, but we saw people in the elevator who obviously didn't care. Just ignored that. Finding your way around the place is complicated, two wings with 3 different sets of elevators to get to services and parking.

Pros: The location is superb, right next to the hot springs and the cablecar. Rooms are excellent, the breakfasts good. Staff at the desk were wonderful when I had to leave at 03:45!!
Cons: The staff in some areas could have been better trained. I was patronised by a waiter because I queried the wine which was not the same vintage as the wine on the menu.
