South Peace Centennial Museum and Interpretive Center is 3 km (1.9 mi.) n.w. on Hwy. 43. With an emphasis on fully restored antique tractors, cars and trucks, the 16-hectare (40-acre) site displays pioneer items, equipment and furnishings used in the early 1900s. A 1928 pioneer house is furnished in period. Other exhibits include a trading post, a general store, a flour mill, a schoolhouse, an Anglican church and a railway caboose. Antique steam engines are fired up for the Pioneer Days festival in mid-July.
