Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre is at 197 1st St. S.W., in the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre. Exhibits represent Chinese culture and history and include sculptures, ceramics and other artifacts dating back thousands of years. Permanently displayed is a replica of the army of terra-cotta soldiers found during a 1974 excavation at Mount Li in China. The clay archers, bowmen, cavalry, chariots and saddled cavalry horses were found in battle-ready formation guarding the Tomb of Qin Shihuang; each figure is unique.
