Fort Calgary is at 750 9th Ave. S.E. The 16-hectare (40-acre) riverside park marks the location of the 1875 North West Mounted Police fort and the Deane House Historic Site, the last remaining building from the site's days as a garrison. Interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and audiovisual presentations tell the story of the site, the settlement and the people of Calgary. Food is available.
