Heritage Park Historical Village is 2.5 km (1.5 mi.) w. off Queen Elizabeth II Hwy. to 1900 Heritage Dr. S.W. This living-history museum resembles a pre-1914 village and reflects the fur trade of the 1860s, the pre-railway settlements of the 1880s and businesses and residences 1900-14. Among the park's more than 200 exhibits and attractions are a ranch house, a saloon, pioneer farm machinery and a Hudson's Bay Co. trading post. Most of the buildings are originals that have been moved to the 51-hectare (127-acre) site.

An antique steam train circles the park, and a paddlewheel boat cruises Glenmore Reservoir. The Gasoline Alley Museum features interactive displays and a collection of vintage vehicles. Representing the 1930s, '40s and '50s, Heritage Town Square depicts the prairie's urban enclaves.
