The Nickle Galleries is on the University of Calgary campus on the main floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library at 410 University Ct. N.W. The galleries were first established with an initial donation by Sam Nickle of one of the most comprehensive numismatic collections in Canada. In addition to its vast array of ancient coins and other types of money, the museum also possesses an impressive assemblage of rugs and textiles as well as a collection of Western art. Lectures, gallery talks and other events are offered during the school year. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

Hours: Mon.-Fri. 10-5 (also Thurs. 5-8), Sat. 11-4, Sept.-Apr.; Mon.-Fri. 10-5, rest of year. Closed major holidays. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
