The Alberta Birds of Prey Centre

The Alberta Birds of Prey Centre is at 2124 16th Ave. The facility, a working conservation center, rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds of prey and prepares them for release back into the wild. A self-guiding nature walk provides a close-up view of captive hawks, falcons, owls, eagles and vultures; visitors also can pose for photos with owls. Birds fly freely during daily demonstrations at this 28-hectare (70-acre) prairie wetland site.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
