AAA Editor Notes
Dinosaur Trail (Hwys. 838 and 837) is a 48 km (30 mi.) looping drive trip that connects Drumheller with the Red Deer River Valley, part of Alberta's Canadian Badlands. The trail is marked, and several museums, parks and observation points are along the route. The arid terrain is distinguished by hoodoos—mushroom-shaped rock pillars carved by thousands of years of wind and rain.

On the north side of the trail is The Little Church, a meditation chapel that holds six visitors. The cable-run Bleriot Ferry crosses the Red Deer River.
