Alberta Legislature Building is at 10800 97th Ave. Public-use parkland, monuments, reflecting pools and fountains surround the building, which was built with sandstone and marble and completed in 1912. Displays outline Alberta's history and parliamentary traditions. Guided 45-minute tours begin in lower rotunda of the Legislature Building.
Daily 10-5, June-Aug.; Mon.-Fri. 10-5, Sat.-Sun. noon-5, rest of year. Guided tours are offered on the hour year-round. Last tour is given at 4. Closed Jan. 1, Good Friday and Christmas. Allow 1 hour minimum.
