Muttart Conservatory is at 9626 96A St. N.W., at the e. end of the James MacDonald Bridge. Four pyramid-shaped glass greenhouses showcase a variety of flora. Plants that thrive in warm, moist climates—including palm trees, orchids, hibiscus and a corpse flower—thrive in the rain forest atmosphere of the Tropical Pyramid, while the Arid Pyramid displays vegetation indigenous to parts of North America and Africa. The Temperate Pyramid exhibits plant life from temperate climates around the world, and the Feature Pyramid has seasonal floral displays. The conservatory's outdoor grounds can be enjoyed on a stroll.
