AAA Editor Notes
Rutherford House Provincial Historic Site is at 11153 Saskatchewan Dr. N.W. on the University of Alberta campus. The structure was home to A.C. Rutherford, Alberta's first premier and a founder of the University of Alberta. Completed in 1911, the elegant Jacobethan (a blend of Jacobean and Elizabethan styles) Revival house established a new standard in domestic architecture and marked the end of the pioneer style in Alberta. Historical interpreters in period dress conduct house tours upon request. Events are scheduled throughout the year.

Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
