This beautifully designed restaurant offers lots of stone and wood, distinctive lighting and a gas fireplace. Native and Western whimsy accents the room including a giant dream catcher over a hoodoo sculpture. The chef uses his imagination with quality local ingredients to produce some amazing and tantalizing food choices. Try the pulled bison sliders to start or an entrée of Alberta elk with chocolate jus. The chocolate banana pudding served with Shiraz ice cream and mascarpone whipped cream is definitely sinful. One of the coolest things I liked about the menu was that they offer petite sizes of the interesting salads (not just the standard Caesar or spinach) and some of the entrées. It makes it possible for lighter eaters to sample more of the menu and the food here is definitely worth it.
