Discovery Wildlife Park

Discovery Wildlife Park is off Queen Elizabeth II Hwy. N. Innisfail exit; take Hwy. 2A 2 blks. n.e., then just n.w. on 42nd Ave., following signs. The 36-hectare (90-acre) park is home to a variety of rescued exotic and native animals, including jaguars, bears, monkeys, tigers and wolves. Some of the creatures are trained to work in show business and have been featured in major film and television productions. Educational shows and interactive programs are offered daily.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
