AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Location (to sporting venues, shopping, nature, waterfront etc.)): While there are lots of nature adventures to be had, I love that the cabins are just a short walk from a wonderful waterfall.
Located 45 minutes outside of Jasper on the way to the Columbia Icefields, this popular property features several totem poles scattered throughout the grounds. Guest rooms have modest décor. The staff can book a variety of tours, from white-water rafting, helicopter, fishing, birding and canoeing tours to horseback riding. Guests also receive complimentary self-driving tour itineraries. There is a great gift shop on-site. Smoke free premises. 53 cabins. 1-2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors.

The room was basic but completely adequate. The location was halfway between the Columbia Ice Fields and Jasper, Alberta. The restaurant was rather expensive, but the food was amazing. As well, all staff were great.
Pros: The service was fantastic.
Cons: Wifi service was terrible, but I suppose expected with this hotel being in the middle of the mountains.

Pros: Restaurant terrific. Staff VERY friendly and helpful. Cabin accommodation quaint and a great Rocky mountain experience. Also close to all area tourist attractions.
Cons: maybe the tiny bathroom but that's getting picky.
