The Museum of Casa Grande, 110 W. Florence Blvd., has exhibits relating to regional and state history. Highlights include period rooms; Native American artifacts; European settlement, mining and agricultural exhibits; antique fire engines; and railroad displays. Historic properties include an early 20th century church, a 1930s era African-American school house and a historic cemetery. Educational programs, entertainment and special events are offered throughout the year.
$5; $4 (ages 60+); free (ages 0-16).
Hours: Thurs.-Sun. noon-4 (also second Sat. of the month 6:30-9), Sept.-May; second Sat. of the month noon-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
