AAA Editor Notes
London Bridge, off US 95 along the Colorado River, was the famed span on the Thames River in London from 1831 to 1968, and now crosses the man-made Bridgewater Channel of the Colorado River in the Arizona desert. The channel created an island from Pittsburgh Point, a former peninsula, that now contains recreational facilities, including a golf course, marina, walking/bicycling trails and a campground. Transported stone by stone from England and reassembled at this location in its original form, the bridge is a striking landmark in this community.
Guided tours are available.
