Arizona Museum of Natural History

Arizona Museum of Natural History, 53 N. Macdonald St., covers the history of Arizona from the days of the dinosaurs to the 21st century. Permanent and temporary exhibits focus on Arizona's prehistoric life, featuring animated dinosaurs, dinosaur skeletons and other fossil specimens. Archeology displays highlight the life of Arizona's ancient Ancestral Desert People, while reminders of old Mesa's past include territorial jail cells and the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine.
