Pros: This hotel was a bit of a nice surprise. We needed to stay here as we were being picked from here for a trip into the Canyon. We knew the town was small and so we weren't expecting much to be honest. But it is a little gem and I hope they don't change it and the service it provides. Staff were so friendly, beds were very large and comfy and rooms were also large and very clean. The food in the small restaurant - dinner and breakfast - was very good and the staff were really lovely.
Cons: There is a railway line at the back of the hotel and a major crossing so the train lets off it's horn a few times just outside the hotel. They do give you earplugs! If you're on business this may be a big irritant but we were on holiday so it was a bit of a laugh in the end. N.B. The whole town and area is dry - non alcoholic! Not a problem for me but my male companions were a bit beside themselves!

Pros: Bed was comfy, room was neat and clean
Cons: Staff didn't have much advice to offer on the Grand Canyon. The location was advertised as being 20miles to the Grand Canyon however this is unrealistic as it is still at least a 2 hour drive to either the Southern or Western rims. The menu offered gluten free options but the staff knowledge was limited and I suspect the meal I was given was not gf as I was sick all night.

Pros: Room was very clean and wifi did work (contrary to what was said at the reception...). Restaurant was good and not expensive at all while the price of the hotel was a bit too high I guess (we paid $182).
Cons: A bit noisy: hearing the noise in the corridor and of course the train !
