Pros: Prompt attention by the front desk
Cons: To go upstairs carrying the luggage to find that door is jammed. Then came back and got the room changed.

Pros: Location. It was convenient to get to Maryvale park for baseball games, and other locations in the Phoenix area. We also went to Sedona one day, which was easy to get to on I-17 North.

Pros: Staff are great. Friendly and nice and bend over backwards to help. Stayed there because it was 1/2 way between our doctors office and hospital. Was down for medical tourism to have a hip replaced. Morning breakfast OK. My wife worked daily on her computer back home in Canada and had very little problems.
Cons: Neighborhood is not good to walk in. Restaurants are far away. Staff should research where to tell people to go. Went to a mall north of hotel and it was nearly all closed. They need to have a list of good restaurants to go to that are not to far away if you are using taxi's. We ended up bringing in food to eat and cooking there. We were off the highway in our room but could be loud by the freeway.

Pros: The rooms was very nice. Very clean.
Cons: The maintenance decided that he was going to chip concrete outside our room at 7 am. Then housekeeping was stomping above us at about 8 am. Checkout was noon but we felt very disturbed by this all front desk said was sorry. I would of liked to feel rested

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever I asked any questions. We went to the pool after 8 o'clock and nobody was there and we wanted to sit by the fire pit the friendly staff came out quickly and assisted us. I bought a firelog in the lobby but they were out of matches about 5 to 10 minutes after I got back to the room they have found some and was able to send somebody to the room to give us the matches .
Cons: As soon as we walked in you could smell a bug spray smell I stay in Marriotts pretty much every time we go anywhere and that was the first time that had ever happened usually only get that in a cheaper hotel or motel but I never experienced that in a Marriott, ever. Upon reviewing the room I open the door adjacent to the mirror in the bathroom area it was a closet that contains the cooling unit but it was full of dust and dirt all along the sides of the door I just thought it was an extra closet at first. When I woke up in the morning to go to use the bathroom I open the bathroom door and there was a roach crawling straight towards me quickly got some toilet paper and killed it but it just made my stomach turn. With the heavy bug spray and then still seeing roaches there's obviously some sort of infestation in at least the building when I checked out in the morning I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk she said all I'm sorry but wasn't too surprised by that, I thought she would be appalled but it must be a regular occurrence. I've always associated Marriott with a higher level of hotel a little bit more money but definitely worth it for the cleanliness and peace of mind knowing it's a great company this property however is nothing like a Marriott except for the staff. When I was packing my car in the morning there was someone in the parking lot rolling marijuana cigarettes and smoking in his car. Again this is nothing I have ever experienced in a Marriott anywhere .
