AAA Editor Notes
Governor's Mansion, part of the Sharlot Hall Museum complex at 415 W. Gurley St., was completed in 1864 for John N. Goodwin, Arizona's first territorial governor. The mansion's furnishings and artifacts depict the period 1864-67. The exhibit Behind Whiskey Row tells the story of Prescott's second-class citizens, including its Chinese workers, during the late 1800s.
