John C. Frémont House, part of the Sharlot Hall Museum complex at 415 W. Gurley St., was built in 1875 from locally milled lumber. It served as the home of the celebrated “Pathfinder” during his term as fifth territorial governor of Arizona. The furnishings and memorabilia represent the period 1875-81.
$9; $8 (ages 65+, and active and retired military with ID); $6 (college students ages 18-25 with ID); $5 (ages 13-17); free (ages 0-12).
Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-4, May-Sept.; Mon.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-4, rest of year. Weekend events are held May-Oct.; phone ahead for information. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
