Pros: The grounds and most of staff were fantastic. breakfast by the creek phenomenol.
Cons: We were told the pool was open til 10pm. At 9:10 PM (Sept 13th, 2016) we were locked in the pool area. Because of the pool pump and forest hum of locusts, no one could hear us yelling to be let out. I had to scale the fence to get someone to unlock the gate for my wife. The staff member who locked us in said my wife must have been in the bathroom when he checked (he lied, my wife and I both saw him poke his head through the gate before locking it; we didn't know he was locking the gate at the time). When I checked out, the clerk had no idea we had been locked in and showed a definite lack of concern\understanding that I would be so upset for such an event happening when spending $450 per night for a room in the lodge. They comped our $66 breakfast; but mostly downplayed this mistreatment on the night of my wife's 50th birthday. Also, there was a beer bottle on the patio left by the previous guest when we checked in. other than this, the place was great.

Pros: - Unparalleled location - Friendly staff. - Great room. - Outdoor cedar showers!!!
Cons: - Service is EXTREMELY slow, but I am guessing that's hard to avoid due to layout. - Very few food choices, and not that great (the biggest, weakest link at the spa IMHO). - The free "breakfast" is worse than what you would get at a Days Inn (no joke, it was pathetic).

Pros:
Cons: Room was not worth the money. Noisy patio right next to service road and trash cans.

Pros: Which part of paradise do you like? Tricky question. Everything was perfect. The location was perfect in that you are close to all amenities, tours, shops and restaurants but very privately situated along the creek. The hotel was very generous. I was leaving late in the day and they extended my checkout and after that I comfortably relaxed around the pool and refreshed in the day spa. The restaurant is fantastic for lunch (I didn't get a chance to dine in the award winning restaurant), the margarita and salad was perfect sitting right next to the creek relaxing after a dusty trail of majestic scenery. My room in the Lodge was beautifully appointed. It was very spacious and luxurious which was sooo wonderful when you actually want to relax in your room after those amazing tours (and the margaritas!).
Cons: mmmm It is hard to find anything that I didn't like... There was one person on reception who seemed keen not to help when he could, but it was very, very, very minor and really it just showed up how hard the rest of the 99.9% of staff work in making your stay perfect, which it was.
