Pros: The room was clean and large. Good location close to the university and lots of free parking space. The wi-fi worked flawlessly.
Cons: The room was quite poorly soundproofed and so the road construction noises from Stone Ave. bothered me a bit.

Pros: They city had construction going on. That had an impact on my stay. The staff was very accommodating, and this was a wonderful plus. The hotel was outdated but you get what you pay for. * Did have USB ports to plug in devices and many outlets for our other devices. Not found in the 4 star hotels I stayed in on my month long travel.The hotel guests were spaced well so noise between rooms were non exsistant. House keeping was pleasant. On site amenities were well priced. Was able to work out a check out time that worked out for me.
Cons: The city construction effected my sleep. No HBO as advertised. Couldn't get the microwave to work properly, but got it to work.

Pros: It was clean. It did not smell.
Cons: mattress was terrible, breakfast was nonexistent, window in the bathroom needed a curtain or something to cover it, especially at night.

Pros: it was inexpensive and center city enough so that i could get around
Cons: the bed was not made up other then a quick pull the sheets up and i ran out of toilet paper and they had not replenished it, there was construction that i had to ask them to stop so i could sleep. to be fair when i complained that immediately fixed these problems

Pros: The Wi-Fi was pretty good, did lag when I watched Netflix.
Cons: The room was not clean, there was dead bugs in the floor. The sheets had other people's hair on them. The bed was hard as a rock! The door didn't shut completely and the continental breakfast consisted of stale bagels and cold coffee.

Pros: The location is central to downtown, the freeway, the University.
Cons: To be honest, the place must have been lightly refurbished when acquired by a chain. However, the room had dings and scratches and the shower door was a rusty mess. The place was acceptably clean and comfortable, ok for a one night stop The "continental breakfast" can be forgotten. Just go out and get something decent. There are other properties very near by that are less expensive and a better choice.

Cons: Requested a handicap accessible room and they had none. In fact they had no ground floor rooms available. They only had 2 nd floor rooms and only stairs to get there

Pros: The staff went out of their way to accomodate our request for two separate beds.

Cons: On checking in we discovered that the room had a very noisy dripping showerhead.. We asked the desk to repair it and was told the manager would take care of it. Hours later we came back to the hotel to find nothing had happened. In answer to my query, the manager said in what could be described as a challenging, very unfriendly, tone, "no one will come out to fix it, it's too late. you can either take your money back or live with it." No apology. Not even a kind or understanding word. Extremely rude.
The bathroom smelled of smoke and the breakfast, and I use the term loosely, consisted of week coffee, and the most pathetic array of stale items to toast. All this for an inflated Gem show price. I bring many people to the University area on business and will never make the mistake of booking this place. I advise you not to as well.

Pros: The location (near the University and also easy access to downtown) was convenient. Stone Av. seems to be the center of everything. I looked at several other motels in the same location and they appeared to be about the same, though the prices were higher. Good value for $$ and staff was helpful.
Cons: Older style motel, but that seems to be mostly what you get in Tucson. The room, however, was clean and the shower was good (very important!)

Cons: Upon checking-in after 10:00pm, the clerk did not ask me for my payment, he instead rubbed two fingers together, I asked him if they did not use the credit card for payment, he said no. I paid cash, I had to ask for a receipt.

Pros: Like I stated the location was decent.
Cons: I believe security is needed at this location. The police had to called in a situation in which a good night sleep was not made possible. Also a clothes rack and better bed sheets couldn't hurt.

Cons: Towel on the floor as we come in. Flickering light. Did not have breakfast ready at 7am the first day. The 2nd day, there was not enough breakfast items for a family.

Pros: Ir gave me a bed to sleep on
Cons: Basically everything about this hotel was horrible. No phone in room. No blow dryer like it advertised online. This was the worst service. They wanted $10 an MINUTE if I had any company on the premises who weren't checked into the hotel. Horrible service!

Pros: The location is convenient to lots of things.
Cons: All curbs are painted red. Thought that was only for fire lanes. This included the 12" high curb we didn't see as we left our parking space. Lots of damage. Manager finally offered apologies after we emailed him & said we weren't going to pursue legal action. Roach in bathroom. Room not ready when we arrived.

Cons: Room smelled of mold. Was not clean enough for me. Teaches me to avoid two star hotels. I could not wait to get out of there fast enough. Fortunately the room was booked for one night only. Otherwise I would have gladly booked another hotel. Neighborhood was sketchy too.

Pros: The room was nice and clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly.
Cons: I did not like the use of machines to clean leaves and vomit. I really did not like the attitude from the owner/manager when I asked to have a little extra time to leave, considering I had to avoid stairs and a parking area with stuff that had been blown from the day before. I understand that motel owners have to keep up a good image. I owned a motel myself. I never made anyone suffer, and I certainly didn't make them breathe bad air if I could help it. I also let them sleep when they had the Do Not Disturb sign on.

Pros: It is close to the university and cheap. It's what I expected. Not great but not terrible. Provided what I needed.

Pros: The price. It was also close to U of A. I did expect this place to be a lot worse. Surprised it was one step up from my idea of what I thought. The sheets smelled like bleach so I felt safe. I checked for bed bugs and it was clean so that is a PLUS!
Cons: It was not completely clean. Hair on shower walls. Dirt along edges of carpet. Stains on the under blanket. You can hear the neighbors talk and make noise.
