Pros: There was not one thing I like about this hotel, except the desk staff was very polite and friendly.
Cons: I did not like anything about this stay. I would love to be credited for another night somewhere. The pillows sucked too. Was definitely up to the standards of a Comfort Inn or Quality Inn, which they are affiliated with. Will never stay there again

Pros: It was a great location for us; in the northern section of the Tucson metropolitan area, on a main thoroughfare with easy access to everything we were interested in. The staff is exceptional and the facilities offered everything we needed. Nice decor.
Cons: The complimentary breakfast offered a very good hot and cold selection of options (including make your own waffles). The only down side was the disposable service wear, ala Costco's least expensive options. Otherwise very satisfying. Will visit again!

Pros: Staff were wonderful, as was breakfast, although perhaps a bit light on meat options. Room was also generally great - comfy beds and balcony with a view. The cucumber drink in the lobby is pleasant and refreshing. The outdoor hot tub is hot as promised.
Cons: Our room's heater performance was a bit off target, blasting heat no matter the designated temperature. Also, one of the sink's knobs was loose to the point of being unable to use it, which meant no hot water from the sink. Otherwise no complaints.

Pros: I can't say enough good things about this facility starting with the front desk personnel. There is a sweet girl up front that you swear never gets any sleep... she is there 24/7 but still manages to give you excellent service.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was a little skimpy but who the hell cares ... It was FREE.

Pros: It was quaint. Staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Great free breakfast. We ate dinner there and it was 5 star.
Cons: Was charged an incidental charge of 250$ for No reason, stated that I smoked in the room & I don't smoke!!think they may have a scam going on, to gain extra income!

Pros: Beautiful grounds, wonderful restaurant. Room was very clean and spacious. Lovely patio/balcony. Great views. Bedding very nice. Older hotel but very, very well maintained. Better shape than newer hotels we have stayed in.

Pros: The staff is wonderful! All nice and quick to take care of us. Gringos is so awesome!! The food is a fresh take on mexican food. The chef is talented, Chili Relleno is a delight with a flavorful sauce. Desserts WOW!The breakfast is the best! Hands down!!
Cons: We had a few challenges with the room - had to reprogram the lock, they took care of it. The jacuzzi would be great if the jets really worked.

Pros: This hotel is lovely! The large rooms are Spanish style and our room's balcony overlooked the lush gardens and pool area below. We always enjoy the breakfast, with a great array of choices. Thank you for the gracious hospitality.

Pros: Great, distinctive hotel with well-appointed rooms with great character, comfortable beds, and private balconies facing the mountains to watch the sunrise. Very well maintained and staffed. Great free breakfast and well located within north Tucson.
Cons: While I think the exterior corridors are part of the hotel's southwest/native design scheme, given it's location off of a major road, I wish they covered the walkways to block out some of the sound. The doors too are very loud.

Pros: The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate any request or question I had. That made for a very peaceful stay. I was surprised by showers only, but that was one of the best showers I've had in a hotel. Plenty of water pressure.
Cons: It was hard for me to find the hotel at night. I learned to look for their restaurant sign, GRINGOS rather than the hotel sign.

Pros: Southwest touches throughout facility; easy location to access; pool & spa area very inviting, especially with the view of the mountains. Gracious front desk staff.
Cons: Did not meet criteria of 3 1/2*; rooms were confining, dark & old; chipped paint, stucco, tile was prevelant; access from street very dated; breakfast was not well laid out & area seemed dirty.

Cons: We've used this hotel many times. This last time, the shower was clogged causing our shower to flood with very brown water. Disgusting! When we told the front desk about it, they said that they could do nothing for compensation. I will never go back!

Pros: The staff are kind and gracious. It's a small hotel with a beautiful courtyard. It is so peaceful and relaxing. I like this much better then the bigger resorts because you get the beauty of the southwest without the crowds.
