Homolovi State Park, 2 mi n. of I-40 on SR 87, preserves structures and cultural artifacts from the late migration period of the Hopi (1200s-1300s). On the grounds are a visitor center, a museum, various trails and a campground.
Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
$7 (per private vehicle, up to four adult passengers); $3 (each additional adult passenger and individuals arriving by bicycle or on foot). Camping $25 (with electricity), $15-$18 (without electricity).
