DeGray Lake Resort State Park is off I-30 exit 78, then 6 mi. n. on SR 7. Interpretive programs at this 938-acre park include guided lake cruises, snorkeling and kayaking trips, trail hikes and wildlife demonstrations. Eagles Et Cetera in January spotlights the park's American bald eagles and other birds of prey. Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, a lodge and campsites, a swimming beach, picnic facilities and a marina that rents fishing tackle, boats, canoes and personal watercraft.
