Greers Ferry Dam and Lake is 3.5 mi. n.e. on SR 25. Completed in 1962, the dam is part of the White River Basin power and flood control project. Sugar Loaf Mountain in the middle of Greers Ferry Lake has hiking and nature trails. Opportunities for fishing and other aquatic activities are available. The William Carl Garner Visitor Center on the south side of the dam offers historical exhibits and a 20-minute presentation. Educational and entertainment programs also are offered. A trout hatchery and an aquarium are 1.5 miles north of the dam off SR 25N.

Visitor center open daily 8-4:30, mid-May to mid-Sept.; Mon.-Fri. 8-4:30, rest of year. Trout hatchery and aquarium open Mon.-Sat. 7-3. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
