Ozark Folk Center State Park is 1.5 mi. n. via SRs 9/5/14, then 1 mi. w. on SR 382. The center focuses on the crafts, music, dance and oral history of an existing mountain folk culture. Local artisans demonstrate such skills as weaving, candle-making, broom-making and blacksmithing. Edible and medicinal herbs, and native plants are grown in the Heritage Herb Garden. Special events take place throughout the year.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.

For craft area or for musical program $12; $7 (ages 6-12); $29.50 (family, two adults and children ages 0-17). Combination crafts and musical program $19.50; $10.25 (ages 6-12); $45 (family, two adults and children ages 0-17). Phone ahead to confirm schedule and rates.
Craft demonstrations are featured Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Apr.-Nov. Musical programs are presented in the auditorium Thurs.-Sat. at 7 p.m., Apr.-Nov. The center is open on a limited schedule rest of year for workshops, special events and holiday offerings.
