This well-maintained motel features rooms with traditional décor. Some of the rooms that have king beds also include a sofa bed. Some guests enjoy the convenience of the at room parking.
48 units. 2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors.
Cons: cobwebs in all ceiling corners and killed large field spider in bathroom many large flies in room on window
Cons: The only issue was the water in the shower did not stay a constant temperature, it would go from luke warm to pretty hot on its own.
We had a great time...
Pros: The room and bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the food and music.
We really enjoyed our stay
Pros: The room was clean and spacious. The bed was soft.
Cons: The pillows were a little small
THE HUMBLE BEGINNING OF A...
Pros: Hotel was fine, but overpriced considering the condition of the building. I was on vacation for three weeks and, thus, stayed in lots of hotels -- incl other EconoLodges. The staff here were friendly and the room had all the essential amenities. But the building itself --- the concrete walkways needed repaving (very old and looked uneven), the stairs up to second floor not exactly ADA friendly --- potentially hazardous for someone with a bad knee or two trying to drag luggage upstairs. Also the key card --- yes, I know, the key card is a potential source of frustration in any hotel. But it was especially true here. Even when it "worked" my door often did not open. Once I used my shoulder and the door "suddenly" flew open, almost causing me to lose my balance. Staff heard my concerns and always said "when the mechanic comes tomorrow...." or "the repairman has gone home for the night. But I will make a note for...." No -- there cannot be a "sorry the guy who knows has gone home" in the customer service business. As I said, I stayed in lots of hotels and this one was one of the higher-priced ones and pthers, even other Econolodges, were in better shape. They also had working key cards and were quick to respond (unlike here in Mountain View) to specific concerns. I did not see Mountain View as being that "big a deal" that a higher room rate was merited. That's my two cents' worth, anyway.
Cons: See above description.......
Worth the trip to check...
Pros: We were planning on going to the Ozark's Folk Center in Mountain View so the location of the hotel was perfect. The room was not fancy, simple but clean and served our needs. The girl that checked us in was friendly and helpful. The town is small but we had a nice stay went to the park where the locals gather and play really good Blue Grass Music it was fun to listen to. The hotel had a very small continental breakfast we chose to go to a little café on Main Str. that served good breakfast at very reasonable prices. Its was worth the drive to go to Mountain View Arkansas. We plan on going back someday.
Cons: The front desk will not let you check in until exactly 4:00 which seems kind of silly especially if their rooms are ready. Continental breakfast wasn't much in fact if they had one we totally missed out, but that wasn't a big deal since the town has three places to go eat breakfast at reasonable prices.

Pros: Bed was comfortable
Small outdoor pool
Cons: Didn't care for the breakfast
Cons: The check in smelled like cigarette smoke and I have problems with smoke.
Great value. Would stay again.
Pros: Great value for the price. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: It was in good shape, but if I had to get picky, there were some small cracks in tile and needed a little paint touch up around door frame.
Would stay again, just upset...
Pros: Room very clean and comfortable. Personnel very polite and friendly.
Cons: Was not happy that all the web site said was pets allowed to find out when we arrived it was $20.00 extra. Quite a steep fee for a small dog.
Filthy carpet, smelly room, only...
Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: Carpet was filthy and had an odor, sheets were old and so worn they had fuzz balls on them. It did not affect me personally but as I am leaving I see a lady carrying her teenage child down the steps. The child is handicap and in a wheelchair. I asked her if they requested a handicap room and she said yes, I didn't find out until we arrived they did not have one available. I asked the lady at the front desk about it and was told they only have one handicap accessible room. If they didn't could they not have placed this family in a first floor room? I would not think that meets Econolodge standard and if it does, I am very disappointed. I will never stay at this facility again.
Many years ago, I stayed in cleaner places as a broke college student for 29.99.
