Governor Mike Huckabee Delta Rivers Nature Center is at 1400 Black Dog Rd. Located within the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park on 130 acres of woodlands, this center features exhibits that depict the natural history of Arkansas' Delta region. Nature trails provide viewing opportunities of the area's vegetation and wildlife. A 20,000-gallon freshwater outdoor aquarium contains native fish species, and other exhibits contain snakes, turtles, alligators and bald eagles. Interactive displays also are offered, including a weather exhibit and a taxidermy display. Videos offer a simulated boat ride and a crop-dusting airplane ride over the Arkansas Delta.

Trails open daily dawn-dusk. Nature center open Tues.-Sat. 8:30-4:30, Sun. 1-5. Fish feeding Tues.-Fri. at 11, Sat.-Sun. at 3. Eagle feeding and presentation Sat.-Sun. at 3:15. Alligator feeding Sat. after fish feeding, Memorial Day-Labor Day. Nature center closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
