Plantation Agriculture Museum is at jct. US 165 and SR 161. Exhibits in this 1912 general store trace the state's cotton planting heritage and plantation life from statehood in 1836 through World War II, when farm mechanization became the agricultural standard. A restored 1919 cotton gin and a restored 1948 cotton seed warehouse are on the grounds. Temporary exhibits also are offered.
